What exactly counts as a detection? +
Every time AllScout checks an image or snapshot from your camera, this consumes a credit. Typical activity for a doorbell camera is c.1,000-2,000 images per month.
What cameras does AllScout support? +
AllScout is currently compatible with all types of Ring cameras with more compatible brands coming very soon.
What is the AllScout Agent? +
The AllScout Agent is your personal Vision AI. Instead of picking from a fixed list of alerts, you simply type what you want to detect — "alert me when my son arrives" or "alert me when a window is left open" — and the Agent configures the detection for you automatically.
How does the Image Bank work? +
Add photos of people you know — family members, regular visitors, employees — and AllScout will alert you whenever those specific people appear on your cameras. You can also use it to detect unknown faces.
Is my video footage stored? +
AllScout only stores individual frames (screenshots) at the moment a detection occurs, not continuous video recordings. Your live camera stream is processed in real-time and not saved to our servers. You can read our full Privacy Policy for details.
Do detections expire? +
With our plans your credits get recharged once a month. You can cancel at any time.
